1-• Advancing pharmaceutical care services through the promotion and adoption of emerging technologies and innovative services.

4-• Role of pharmacists in Patient counselling improvement across the MODHS hospitals.

• Establishment of patient counselling program according to ASHP guideline.
• Barriers to effective patient counselling and how to overcome.
• Providing participants with program and application covering the topics of patient counselling techniques with different populations (Elderly, pediatric transplant patients …etc.)
• To elaborate on the importance of continuous education in communication skills and patient counselling field for pharmacists.
• To discuss the fundamentals in communication skills.
• To present the most common cases happened among multidisciplinary team.
• To discuss different methods to improve patients medication adherence and how to deal with medication side effects.

Day-to-Day Communication and Support: Nurses often have the most interaction with patients and can reinforce information provided by other healthcare providers. They help clarify instructions and ensure patients understand their care plan.
Patient Advocacy: Nurses serve as advocates for patients, helping to convey their concerns and preferences to the rest of the healthcare team.
Specialized Counseling: Allied health professionals provide targeted advice related to their field, such as dietary guidance or exercise routines, to help patients manage their health.
Behavioral Change Support: These professionals support patients in making lifestyle adjustments necessary for managing chronic conditions, such as diabetes or hypertension, which requires good communication and motivational skills.
